Mahoy - Orville

Orville C. Mahoy, 84 of 19 N. 22nd St, died at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Ross Annex where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been in ill health for a year. Mr. Mahoy was born in Montgomery County, was graduated from Marion College, taught school at Bowers and Parkersburg and then was a carpenter for about 45 years. He was married in 1910 in Darlington to Josie B. Cox and they moved to Lafayette 44 years ago. He attended the former St. Paul Methodist Church. Surviving with the widow are two sons, Joseph N. of Lafayette, and William A. of Rt 1, Battle Ground and a daughter, Mrs. William D. Stovall, Rt 3. - kz
